PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PUTAR PENGINGAT IMUNISASI (ROTARI) TERHADAP KEPATUHAN KUNJUNGAN IMUNISASI ANAK

Achievement of low and uneven immunization can lead to the accumulation of vulnerable populations who are not immune to disease caused by several causal factors, namely the lack of health promotion media in health facilities regarding immunization, compliance with visits, forgetting dates and late visits. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using rotary media for immunization reminders (Rotari) on compliance with child immunization visits in the Remu Community Health Center working area, Sorong City. This research is a quasi-experimental research and uses a post-test only with control design. The population in this study was 123 children aged 0-2 years who received immunizations in the Remu Community Health Center working area, Sorong City. The sampling method in this research was non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique with a total of 30 respondents who were divided into 2 groups, namely, 15 in the experimental group who were given Rotary Media and 15 in the control group who were given KIA Book media. The data collection technique in this research uses a questionnaire. Data analysis used chi-square. The results of the study showed that there was no significant influence between Rotary media and compliance with immunization visits for children with a p-value of 1,000 > 0.05. where the frequency of obedient children receiving immunizations in the Rotary group was 15 children (100%) while in the KIA book group it was 14 children (93.3%). The conclusion is that there is no effect of the use of immunization reminder playback media in the treatment group on compliance with child immunization visits in the Remu Health Center working area, Sorong City. It is hoped that the Remu Health Center in Sorong City can be used as a reference and information about increasing compliance with child immunization visits and improving services and outreach about the importance of immunization for children.
