About the Journal

Jurnal Kebidanan Sorong (JKS) (eISSN : 2807-7059) published by the Sorong Ministry of Health Poltekkes is a national midwifery journal which aims to disseminate scientific articles to contribute to improving public health, especially oriented towards maternal and child health.

Jurnal Kebidanan Sorong (JKS) is published twice a year, namely the August and February editions. We welcome and invite original research articles and literature Review within the focus and scope of midwifery, including; childbirth, pregnancy, newborns, adolescence, family planning, climacterium, community midwifery, education in midwifery, and complementary therapy in midwifery.

Jurnal Kebidanan Sorong (JKS) has been accredited by The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Republic of Indonesia as an academic journal in Sinta 5 (SK Direktorat Jenderal Riset dan Pengembangan Kemendiktisantek No. 156/C/C3/KPT/2026).
